I nternational Criminal Law
International criminal law covers international judicial assistance, international and transnational criminal offences. International judicial assistance is a form of international judicial cooperation in which the judicial authorities of one state take certain actions on behalf of the requesting state’s judicial authorities. Extradition is the most common type of international judicial assistance. International crimes; the crime of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and the crime of aggression are international crimes and these crimes are known as core international crimes. Transnational crimes are crimes that start in one country but affect other countries. Drug or migrant trafficking or cybercrimes can be examples of such crimes.
